We thought everyone would enjoy a compilation of various ads Jeff Phillips was in easy to see all at once in roughly chronological order. We found most of these over the internet and don't know specific copyright issues, so they are here now and may have to be removed should someone have an issue with us providing them conveniently side by side to the public. New ones will be added as we find them in a massive stack of mags or if someone sends one etc. All the ads after the Tracker one thats horizontal are not chronological.

I grew up in San Diego and regularly skated the 4 major parks: Spring Valley, LA Mesa, Oasis and Del Mar. When my moms job transfered her to Dallas I was miserable. One of her first hires was Jeff Newton who would go on to found Zorlac Skateboards soon after I met Jeff and had the pleasure of watching his career take off( we were 13)l am 100 percent in agreement, as per Vert skating Jeff was and is the G. O. A. T. Sorry Tony but you'd even said prior to Jeff's death that' '' Phillips scares me, but he's the only dude" R. I. P Jeff, miss you bro.

Hey Ian (Jon) - This is Kathy Noel, Jeff Phillips' sister. I ran across this page and your comments quite by accident, but wanted to say thanks for your kind words. You're not the only one who has ever said Jeff took time for them and I think it's awesome - he had a huge heart and understood the difficulties of not quite fitting in. I'm glad he was a postive influence in your life - he is definitely missed by many. I don't know if you know this or not, but Jeff was inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in California on May 2, this year. I went out to accept his award - the ceremony was great and there were so many people there to remember and celebrate his life and skateboarding contributions. Good luck to you - I'm glad you knew Jeff.

Jeff was a good dude. I just hang at his house people to come over didn't matter who everybody was Jeff's friend. I still remember raping his sponsor room and getting a shirt that was way too small for me but it was life's a beach shirt showing and doing the Phillips 66 and also said was Jeff Phillips lives! 4 some reason I had to have it. I think we watched Akira in Japanese for about a year before I realized it wasn't in English. I took off that winter to the coast. All I know is that he seemed upbeat on Xmas. I made the mistake that afternoon of telling him I'd come see him at July Alley the next day. I still feel selfish that I didn't make that east bound turn on NW highway to do what was normal, just stop & chill with him.

AuthorSkating and being involved in the scene in DFW, doing many demos/events, traveling to other events allowed lot's of opportunity to witness and capture photos and video of many legends. Especially Jeff Phillips. After releasing the Texas Style Dvd's to show the world the incredible skating in Texas many people have suggested we do a Jeff Phillips documentary. That would truly be an honor and also a big undertaking. Along with possibly seeming profit seeking to some - though every book, documenatary and such in skateboarding is sold. Instead here is a page free to all that will serve as somewhat of a history/documentary. Even $1 is appreciated!
Thanks for your support! CategoriesThe First Dvd in the series with lots of great action from Phillips, Gibson, Johnson, Fillion, Blender, Mcgill, Elguera, Groholski, Murf, Danforth and more. Pool, SUAS, Ramp, U ramp.
The second in the Dvd series. More Pools, Ramp, SUAS 88 and more!
